Apivar strips are a extremely effective treatment against Varroa Mites. Place the strips between the frames for a contact mite treatment. The bees then spread the treatment throughout the hive. The strips go in for 42 days, and are removed promptly. Do not add a honey super until 2 weeks after they are removed.
