Honey Bees for Sale

Package Bees

Spring 2010: We are now taking orders for packaged bees, available to our customers in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island only.

These will be a 3.3 lb. package of bees from New Zealand with 1 laying queen. We have gotten these same ones for at least a dozen years, and have always been pleased with their quality.

The packages will be arriving sometime the second week of April, which will necessitate feeding them sugar syrup and pollen patties for a time, but should have them nicely built up by the first part of June. Package bees must be paid for in full prior to arrival; when we have a firm price, customers will be invoiced.

Please contact us for more information or to place your order.

Nucs

Nucleus colonies of bees ("nucs" for short) are usually available each spring around the first week in June (New Brunswick customers only). These are 4-frame nucs that are made up from the bees in our own apiary.

For more information and our 2009 prices, please see our Nucs page.

Queens

Queen bees (imported from various sources) are usually available between late April and the end of May, by mail order or for pick-up at our store.

For more information and our 2009 prices, please see our Queens page.

New beekeepers, see our Beginning Beekeepers Guide to learn about getting started in beekeeping with nucleus colonies or package bees.
